Μετά από σχόλιο του φίλου σε αντίστοιχο άρθρο μας έκατσα και το έψαξα λιγάκι και έφτιαξα ένα πακέτο εγκατάστασης το οποίο εγκαθιστά ταυτόχρονο Ελληνικό και Αγγλικό ορθογραφικό έλεγχο στο Snow Leopard και Lion!

Η Apple έκανε διαθέσιμη την έκδοση 10.7.2 του Lion η οποία περιλαμβάνει το iCloud, το Safari 5.1.1 και πολλές αλλαγές, δείτε το changelog από κάτω:

The 10.7.2 update is recommended for all OS X Lion users and includes general operating system fixes that improve the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac. It also includes support for iCloud, a breakthrough set of free cloud services that automatically and wirelessly store your content on iCloud and push it to all of your devices. iCloud on OS X Lion includes the following features:

• iCloud stores your email, calendars, contacts, Safari bookmarks, and Safari Reading List and automatically pushes them to all your devices.

The 10.7.2 update also includes Safari 5.1.1 as well as fixes that:

• Allow reordering of desktop spaces and full screen apps in Mission Control.

• Improve the compatibility of Google contact syncing in Address Book.
• Address an issue that causes Keynote to become temporarily unresponsive.
• Improve VoiceOver compatibility with Launchpad.
• Address an issue that causes a delay in accessing the network after waking from sleep.
• Enable booting in to Lion Recovery from a locally attached Time Machine backup drive.
• Resolve an issue that causes screen zoom to stop working.
• Improve Active Directory integration.

Μετά το Parallels 7 κυκλοφόρησε και η VMWare το δικό της Virtualization Software, το Fusion με βελτιώσεις και προσθήκες για το Lion.

Το iCal στο Lion δεν μου αρέσει καθόλου, δεν είναι καθόλου χρηστικό. Ψάχνω να βρω κάτι άλλο και επιτέλους το βρήκα!

Το CCleaner μπήκε στην 3η Beta και κυκλοφόρησε επίσημα για το Lion!

Είναι πολύ πιο ολοκληρωμένη από την πρώτη beta που είχαμε δει και αν συνεχίσει με αυτούς τους ρυθμούς θα γίνει αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι για κάθε Mac.

Σύμφωνα με το επίσημο site το changelog έχει ως εξής:

Η Apple φουλάρει μάλλον για την κυκλοφορία του iCloud καθώς κυκλοφόρησε άλλη μια ομάδα αναβαθμίσεων.

Μετά το iOS 5 beta 5 κυκλοφόρησε και αναβάθμιση για το Lion και συγκεκριμένα:

ενημέρωσε το build του 10.7.2 για το Lion

ενημέρωσε το iCloud  στην beta 6

ενημέρωσε το Safari στην 5.1.1 μόνο για τα bookmarks και τα reading lists με το iCloud όπως αναφέρει η Apple.

Αν είστε registered developer ξέρετε που θα τα κατεβάσετε, αν όχι όπως συνήθως θα τα βρείτε εδώ.

Η πρώτη αναβάθμιση για τους developers κυκλοφόρησε ήδη. Στο ιντερνετ κυκλοφορούν πολλές συζητήσεις για το αν βελτιώνει ή διορθώνει κάποια από τα bugs του Lion και συμφωνα με την Apple η έκδοση αυτή είναι μόνο για δοκιμή μαζί με την beta 5 του iCLoud που κυκλοφόρησε παράλληλα.

Μπορείτε να κατεβάσετε και την 10.7.2 και το iCloud beta 5 από εδώ!

Όσοι δεν μπορείτε να το εγκαταστήσετε και σας βγάζει σφαλμα ανοιξτε τον finder, κάντε copy την παρακάτω διαδρομή /System/Library/Coreservices/

στον finder πατηστε cmd+shift+g και κάντε paste την διαδρομή. Ψάξτε για το αρχείο ServerVersion.plist και σβήστε το. Κάντε επανεκκίνηση και ξεκινήστε ξανά την εγκατάσταση.

Ορισμένοι χρήστες MacBook/MacBook pro έχουνε παρατηρήσει μικρότερη διάρκεια ζωής της μπαταρίας του φορητού τους, και/ίσως σχετικά μεγαλύτερες θερμοκρασίες σε χαλαρή χρήση.
Μία λύση την οποία προτείνουμε είναι να κάνετε ένα reset το SMC, μία διαδικασία την οποία αναλύουμε αμέσως:

1. Κάνετε Shut Down το Mac σας.
2. Συνδέετε το φορτιστή
3. Πατήστε τα αριστερά Shift-Control-Option και το Power ταυτόχρονα για 5-10 δευτερόλεπτα.
4. Απελευθερώστε όλα τα πλήκτρα και το power ταυτόχρονα
5. Πατήστε το Power για να ξεκινήσετε τον υπολογιστή σας
   Σημ: Το LED του MagSafe μπορεί να αλλάξει καταστάσεις ή και να σβήσει προσωρινά κατα τη διάρκεια του reset

H παραπανω διαδικασία θα κάνει reset τα power management του Mac σας.

Μόλις κυκλοφόρησε η πρώτη Beta του γνωστού προγράμματος Onyx, για το Lion.

Οι θαρραλέοι κατεβάστε το από εδώ. Για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν το Onyx είναι ένα πρόγραμμα συντήρησης, βελτιστοποίησης, καθαρισμού και πρόσβασης σε κρυφές ρυθμίσεις, για το Mac σας.
